Roy is an English professional cricketer, and was part of the 2019 World Cup-winning England squad. One of the country's most successful batsmen, he holds the record for the highest individual One Day International innings by an English cricketer, and has over 3000 ODI runs in total. In the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup final, he ran out Martin Guptill during the tie-breaking super over, securing England's victory.
