Ian Burnett is a British judge and current Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the head of the British judiciary. Prior to becoming Lord Chief Justice, he had a distinguished career as a barrister and judge, specialising in Public and Administrative Law, and participating in numerous high profile inquests, including the inquiry into the death of Princess Diana.
