The Hon. Chief Justice Ma s the Chief Justice of the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal. Over the past two decades, he has held various positions in the High Court of Hong Kong, including Chief Judge and Justice of Appeal. A staunch advocate of judicial impartiality, he has criticised judges who have expressed political opinions during recent protest movements, and is considered one of the most respected defenders of human rights in Hong Kong.
