Lady Rose is a senior British judge currently sitting as a Justice of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom. Having studied at Newnham College Cambridge, followed by a postgraduate degree at Brasenose College, Oxford, she was called to the bar in 1984 and she later became a judge, sitting on the High Court from 2013, and being appointed to the Court of Appeal in 2019. In 2021, Lady Rose was nominated to be a Justice of the Supreme Court and was raised to the peerage. Her most notable judicial decision involved Singularis Holdings Limited and Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Limited in relation to a breach of the Quincecare duty.
