Here’s what we find productive: Engaging in the eternal war of ideas.

This is a war that takes place through use of communication. No stones thrown, no bombs dropped.

“What do you believe and why?”

Our beliefs are created from being convinced of ideas, then our beliefs inform our actions. Once we hold a belief, we can then apply skepticism to be sure that what we believe is consistent with reality. Skepticism is thinking critically about a proposition from the perspective of requiring evidence for justification. This fully encompasses reasonability. If human apes learn to value skepticism like we value the ones we love, ideological nonsense will disappear.

The ultimate goal being the eradication of bad ideas.
