Prezentujemy wykład pt. „Współczesna misja prawosławna w zsekularyzowanym świecie” (The Contemporary Orthodox mission in a secularized world), który wygłosił Very Rev. Dr. Josiah Trenham (Saint Katherine College, San Marcos, California, USA) w czasie konferencji popularno-naukowej pt. „Nowa emigracja zza wschodniej granicy w Lublinie jako wyzwanie religijne i kulturowe”, jaka miała miejsce pierwszego dnia V edycji festiwalu „Wschodniosłowiańskie dziedzictwo kulturowe Lublina”. Konferencja odbyła się w sali kinowej Centrum Spotkania Kultur w Lublinie w dniu 4 września 2020 roku. Gorąco zachęcamy do obejrzenia i uważnego wysłuchania tego niezwykle ważnego przesłania prawosławnego duchownego z USA. Fr Josiah zaczął budować swoją parafię w latach 90-tych XX wieku w dalekiej południowej Kalifornii z grupką 12 wiernych. Obecnie ta prawosławna wspólnota w USA liczy blisko 700 osób.
