I respect a lot of what Dave Ramsey teaches, but in this case, I don’t fully agree, I think not investing is actually a bigger risk, especially with inflation. So here’s what I’d do instead: build an emergency fund, invest based on your goals, and only pay off the mortgage when it makes the most sense for your cash flow and future.
