YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAfter being diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin's lymphoma, an aggressive cancer, 17 year old Cassandra Callender was soon needed to find a treatment to treat her condition. There was hope for her recovery, but after a delay in starting treatment and refusal to undergo the doctor's recommended chemotherapy, the court soon ruled state custody over her. Cassandra was kept in the hospital for several months, had a port placed in her chest and was forced to do chemotherapy. It wasn't until she turned 18 when she was able to make the choice for her treatment plan. And what she decided would cause a stir amongst those in the western and alternative medicine world.
