Pete Aguilar (CA-33) announced that he secured $1,034,487 in community project funding for the City of Rancho Cucamonga’s Emergency Operations Center Relocation Project, which will move the current Emergency Operations Center from the main Rancho Cucamonga Police Station to the Civic Center campus. This federal investment will not just relocate the center, but will also make important upgrades to provide staff with more workspace and newer technology. This project will support emergency response needs, enhance public safety, build community resilience, and ultimately increase collaboration between the City’s police and fire departments to respond to emergencies, from traffic incidents to wildfires, more quickly and efficiently.
