17:01Now PlayingPeter Boghossian is no stranger to professor harassment, so he was quite interested in NPR's coverage of the topic.
According to NPR, right-wing mobs are routinely attacking professors for sharing progressive views on race and diversity. This flies in the face of reality. American professors experiencing the brunt of harassment and speech suppression are those who challenge Social Justice ideology. Free-thinking professors of all stripes experience the chilling effect this has on academic inquiry, but conservative professors are disproportionately affected in light of their low prevalence (less than ten percent) at universities in the United States.
