It took the jury less than 3 hours to convict disgraced attorney Alex Murdaugh of the brutal murders of his wife and son
It is clear that the defense really had no chance after it was proven that the defendant was at the scene of the crime despite having lied to law enforcement about being there. The defense team should have come clean with the jury from the beginning in order for their presentation to have any credibility.
Despite finding Murdaugh guilty, the jury was not impressed with the prosecution's argument that Murdaugh was on the edge of financial ruin after a plethora of financial crimes were being exposed
