YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

Piers Morgan is joined for an exclusive interview with Afghan TOLOnews reporter Farida Sial and presenter and Head of Foreign Hamid Bahram to discuss the current state of Afghanistan under the Taliban just weeks after Piers interviewed the the regime's spokesperson Suhail Shaheen. Farida says that things are in fact getting worse, as women on TV are told they must wear a burka with face covering when presenting. They go on to discuss how men on TV in Afghanistan came together and decided to wear face coverings too in protest of this decision. Hamid makes it clear though that there are many other problems going on beyond the treatment of women and that there is a severe disconnect between the people and the leaders of the Taliban. He says they feel like they don't have a voice and finally gives a powerful monologue summarising the current state of Afghanistan - and gives a direct message to the Taliban.
