Surprisingly the discussion begins with Grace and Richard in agreement on what the new Prime Minister should be doing to handle the energy crisis. Richard suggests you revert to the average 2021 wholesale price and say to the generators that this is the flat fee. Grace agrees to Richard's plan and says that Liz's suggestion of an 'energy cap' is basically corporate welfare.
Then Douglas suggests that even though Truss has come into a very difficult situation, she has to get it right because all the problems are spiralling and she only has two years in which to fix them. He also fears that because we've had 12 years of Conservatives failure, their suitability for office will continue to be questioned.
