Howie is optimistic about AI and believes it holds an exciting future for humankind. He also shuts down criticism of the potential dangers by saying that many of these thoughts happen when new world-changing technology comes into play - but we always figure out a way of regulating and keeping things safe and uses the world wide web as an example.
Piers and William however are a little more pessimistic and believe that things like AI are hard to regulate and can be easily accessed by bad people. William brings up whether AI can be taught morality and Piers references his interview with Stephen Hawking, who said the world will end once AI can become self-sufficient.
