11:32Now PlayingPiers Morgan Uncensored is joined by author, neuroscientist and YouTuber Sam Harris to discuss whether criticism of religion and cultures is accepted under free speech. The pair also react to The 1975 frontman Matty Healy's recent stunt performing in Malaysia, when he kissed his bandmate Ross MacDonald on stage as a statement to criticise the country's anti-LGBT laws.
Piers believes that Matty's stunt was hypocritical as he had recently been exposed for using some homophobic terms in a podcast and Sam believes that western societies should not conform to religious sensitivities of other cultures outside the west such as Islam whilst allowing criticism of other religions and cultures such as Christianity and Buddhism. Piers points to his interview with Richard Dawkins, in which he refused to answer questions relating to the criticism of Islam as a direct example of what Sam is talking about.
