21:30Now PlayingIf you’ve been following the case brought against Netflix by Fiona Harvey, also known as ‘The Real Martha’ from the streaming giant’s show Baby Reindeer, you’ll know the last development was that after her much-viewed interview with Piers Morgan she moved forward with a heart-stopping $170m lawsuit. Now the creator and star of the series, Richard Gadd, has finally broken his silence on the dramatically public legal battle. Unsurprisingly, he has come down on Netflix’s side, and called for the entire case to be thrown out.
To analyse what Gadd’s testimony could mean going forward, Piers calls in two experts in their respective fields of US law and pop culture, criminal defence lawyer Mark Geragos and Popcorned Planet's Andy Signore. Mark doesn’t believe the case will actually make it to a court with a jury, while Andy is once again left exclaiming: “Why are you defending her so much, Piers?!”
