The search for the ghost of this civilization is a story that rewrites the history of the Americas, stretching back to the last Ice Age, over 15,000 years ago. Our investigation follows the architectural fingerprints—sunken circular plazas, mysterious U-shaped temples, and celestial alignments—that connect what were once thought to be separate ancient cultures. We'll explore the monumental pyramids of the Norte Chico, a culture that predates the pyramids of Giza by over a thousand years, and venture deep into the Casma Valley to uncover a complex society that shattered the accepted timeline of Andean civilization. We’ll uncover monumental construction at sites like Sechín Bajo, Pampa de Las Llamas-Moxeke and others, travel to the some of the oldest sites like Caballete and Cerro Porvenir, and even find an undocumented temple that proves a link connecting them all, proving the history of Peru’s first civilization was far larger than is currently accepted. And our search for their origin point, a place that started it all, will show this civilizations humble origins at Huaca Prieta and its radiocarbon dates stretching back to the last Ice Age. With drone footage, on-site exploration, and hard archaeological data, we piece together the origins of complex societies that rival — and even predate — Egypt and Mesopotamia.
