We’ve got to do more. My law firm is entering the fray. Effective immediately, we are expanding our services to represent detained immigrants. To date, we’ve helped asylum seekers exclusively in nondetained settingsmeaning affirmative asylum cases with USCIS and nondetained immigration court settings. But that changes now. I won’t sit back and let the government walk all over the rights of immigrants and U.S. citizens alike without putting up a fight. We are now suing the government to help detained immigrants get out of immigration detention and helping them with bond hearings to get free. And for those who aren’t able to get out of detention, we’re going to represent them in asylum cases in the detained setting. I’m especially determined to use the federal litigation skills we’ve built up in filing hundreds of mandamus cases and putting this expertise and experience to work in filing habeas corpus lawsuits to get wrongfully detained immigrants out of detention. My team has filed hundreds of cases in federal court and lost one case. That means our success rate to date in federal court is well over 99%. We’ve gotten good at mandamus lawsuits, and we’re bringing the same skill to a similar action in federal court in the form of habeas corpus lawsuits. We are determined to do more, and it starts right now. If you know someone who is detained, call me now. [winasylum.com]()
