YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe president of the United States has been repeating a dangerous claim with zero evidence: that foreign governments deliberately emptied their prisons and mental institutions to send criminals here. đ¨ Immigration policy expert Aaron Reichlin-Melnick recently called this out in a widely shared post on X that deserves your attention. He pointed out something simple: after all these claims, there is still no proof. Trump made this claim repeatedly on the campaign trail and now from inside the White House. Yet after more than a year in power, his administration hasnât produced a single piece of evidence to back it up. đ No intelligence report. No courtroom evidence. Nothing at all. And hereâs what makes this even harder to dismiss. The Trump administration captured NicolĂĄs Maduro himself and his wife, the very people Trump accused of orchestrating this scheme. If the evidence existed, we would have seen it by now. The Department of Homeland Security hasnât produced it. The intelligence community hasnât produced it. It hasnât surfaced in a single immigration court case or any federal criminal proceeding involving migrants. âď¸ This was always a scare tactic designed to make the American public fear you. To make them believe that the person fleeing persecution, the mother crossing with her children, or the asylum seeker waiting years for their interview or hearing might secretly be a dangerous criminal. That fear has been used to justify mass deportations, inhumane detention, and sending people to a notorious Salvadoran prison. This lie is documented and the harm is real. đ Youâre not a threat emptied from a foreign prison. Youâre a human being who fled real danger, and you deserve a government here that tells the truth.
