If we lose the moral high ground, we risk losing the D.E.I. Battle. No one here will ever deny that it started out as an unfounded witch hunt, and the plagiarism allegations were completely over blown. Not to mention, the ridiculous claims of antisemitism were equally done in bad faith. But I think most would also agree that that hearing didnt do any favors, and I think its because we have gone so far left, that we are moving to the right with our inability to speak clearly, honestly, and with meaning. This isn't the first time I have heard extremely intelligent people questioned on tough ideas and give absolutely unclear and indecisive answers because we are so afraid of a trap.
