In simple terms, it is a celebration of Islamic doctrine—of the Koran and also of scriptures dedicated to Mohammed’s life (Hadith and Sira), as the Koran demands 89 times [1] that Muslims imitate Mohammed in every single way.
📗 ➡️ So what is concerning about the revelation of the Koran?
◾ 6.7% of the Koran’s content is anti-Jewish in comparison to Mein Kampf with its 7% [2]
◾ 8.7% of the Koran’s total content is dedicated to jihad [3]
◾ 64% of the Koran’s content is dedicated to non-Muslims [4] and contains dehumanizing verses like Koran 98:6 [5], verses supporting paradise as a reward for violent jihad like Koran 9:111 [6], verses supporting (sexual) slavery like Koran 4:24 [7], and verses prescribing fighting Christians and Jews like Koran 9:29 [8]
The contents of the Koran are not the only concerning aspect. Here are just a few examples from Mohammed's life regarding Jews. We cannot list all of them, as 11.8% of his biography (Sira) is anti-Jewish, as well as 8.9% of his traditions (Hadith). [2]
On one occasion, Mohammed was personally involved in the beheading of 600–900 Jewish prisoners of war. This is a well-documented fact (Sira – Mohammed’s biography, Ibn Ishaq 690). [9]
Hadith, Bukhari 2926 (also 2925, 2922, 2921a) Mohammed: “The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.” [10]
Any form of support for or endorsement of Ramadan in non-Islamic societies (especially by Jews) is therefore highly problematic.
