It comes following the news from Buckingham Palace that His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, has died at the age of 99.
The day after The Duke’s death, gun salutes were held as part of UK-wide events to mark the life and legacy of The Queen’s husband. From midday (12:00PM GMT,) 41 rounds were fired - one per minute - in cities including London, Edinburgh, and Belfast, as well as Gibraltar.
