In real life, Jacobson has published two coloring books, Color This Book: New York City and Color This Book: San Francisco, and now adds a third title to her print oeuvre. Carry This Book is a delightful combination of visual whimsy and insightful portraiture, inviting readers to consider the baggage we all carry around. Riffling through the pockets and purses of Everyman as well as investigating the contents of Oprah’s handbag and Trump’s suitcase, Jacobson asks if we are indeed what we carry.
Jacobson is in conversation with Mike Perry, an artist, animator, creative director, brand consultant, poet, and designer who did the animation for the opening credits of Broad City.
