Founder, lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist of the punk rock band, Against Me! Grace founded Total Treble Music in 2011, but found her deeper life mission when she came out as a transgender woman in 2012. An outspoken advocate for gender awareness, Grace has told part of her story in True Trans, a ten-part documentary in which she interviewed “gender variant people from all walks of life.” Now she gives a vivid and often searing account of her early gender dysphoria, her struggles with identity and addiction, her work, and her relationships.
