Lou Montgomery and her mother are musical performers with problems. They are scratching out a living performing in diners and cafes while living out of their car. Making things worse, Lou doesn’t like crowds, loud noises or singing in front of other people. This makes her feel different and worried that there is something seriously wrong with her. When an accident forces her to move in with wealthy relatives and rejoin school, she gets a chance to start over but her sensory processing disorder still haunts her. Can music be the key to her recovery?
