Dawn Perry is a writer and cookbook author. Most recently, she served as the food director for Real Simple. She has also worked in the test kitchens of Everyday Food, Bon Appétit, and the meal kit delivery service Martha & Marley Spoon. Dawn is the author of Short Stack Editions’ Cucumbers. Her recipes and writing have also been featured on Epicurious, Tasting Table, Food & Wine, and The New York Times, among other publications. She recently moved from Brooklyn to Los Angeles where she lives with her husband and two kids.

Olga Massov is a freelance food and lifestyle writer, and cookbook collaborator. She’s been working as an assignment editor at The Washington Post food section since March 2019, alongside other culinary freelance projects. She has also worked as an editor on several cookbooks from Phaidon Press.

Terrell Danley’s journey to WLC was fueled by his passion for food and urban adult education. Terrell has served as an instructor and curriculum developer for the organization's Culinary Job Training program, where his success led to a promotion to Program Manager and General Manager, allowing him to co-develop and implement an acclaimed workforce readiness program at THEARC in SE Washington. Terrell also served as the Lead Culinary Arts instructor for the Potomac Job Corps Center and created the Job Corp's nationally top-ranked culinary arts program.
