YouTube Description
as posted by the channelKeir Starmer is close to failing the first test of his leadership, the SNP's Westminster leader has said, if he does not commit to abolish the two-child benefit cap.
It was hoped the policy would be announced in Wednesday's King's Speech, in which Labour will lay out its plans for the first 100 days of its government.
Enacting the plan would benefit around 1.6 million children, who are missing out on thousands of pounds a year due to the two-child benefit cap.
