After reporting from the scene of Mo Chara's court hearing and its surrounding protest yesterday, Seán and Laura dive into what they saw and why the British state are really going after KNEECAP.

Mo Chara, real name Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, faces a terrorism charge under the Terrorism Act of 2000 for allegedly displaying a Hezbollah flag and shouting 'Up Hamas, up Hezbollah' during a gig at Kentish Town Forum in London last year. The charge relates to alleged support for a proscribed organisation, but Mo Chara and his bandmates would say that the case only serves to distract from their support for Palestine, and ability to speak to power. His defence team argue the charge was brought outside the legal time limit for summary offences and is therefore invalid, a point that will be decided when the case returns in August.

The pair describe the scenes outside the hearing, as well as the connection between music and protest. Hear about the hundreds of supporters waving Irish tricolours and Palestinian flags, and also from a Sinn Féin and an MLA MP in yesterday's voxes.
