An example of this was the murder of Sarah Everard, a terrible crime that sparked national outrage and mass protests. Yet, those protests were led by women demanding systemic change in policing and public safety, not by far-right agitators. Why the difference in reaction? Ed and Oli argue that it's because the Sarah Everard case couldn’t be racialised in the same way.
