as posted by the channelJustice Secretary and Shadow Justice Secretary David Lammy and Robert Jenrick locked horns at the despatch box on Monday afternoon as the chaos surrounding the accidental release of asylum seeker Hadush Kebatu, who was serving a twelve month sentence for the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in Epping.
Lammy stated that "human error" of a prison officer was to blame for the fiasco, which led to a weekend of chaos and questioning of the prison system.
Robert Jenrick attacked Lammy for the government presiding over such major cock-ups, and called for the Justice Secretary to resign if Kebatu was not deported soon.
Lammy clapped back and reminded the House that the deterioration of the prison system in the UK has entirely been on the watch of the Conservatives.
