There is no scientific evidence for the efficacy and effects imputed to psychedelics. Very few placebo-controlled clinical trials have been conducted and none of them showed promising results. Psychedelics may end up being another class of anti-depressants.

Can psychedelics cure Narcissistic Personality Disorder? This claim is unmitigated nonsense. Narcissism is an all-pervasive, complex psychological condition that permeates and comprises every facet of the personality and all cognitions and affects, as well as moods and self-regulation. Narcissism is reactive to the environment (fluctuations in narcissistic supply and challenges to grandiosity), not to internal alterations in neurobiochemistry: the condition is exogenous, not endogenous.
