Planet universe much better off should the human species be supplanted and replaced by the next stage in evolution.
The next stage in evolution could be a variation on the human species, could be a mixture of the human species with machines, so cyborgs, or could be a total replacement of the human species by another form of intelligence such as AI.
It is presumptuous to adopt God’s POV (can we control our own evolution, what would be good for the planet).
We are limited entities.
No perfect information about ourselves and the environment. Logician and mathematician Kurt Godel: we cannot create perfect logical and mathematical system. If we did, they would become inconsistent and self-defeating. It is a grandiose set of mind.
What is better? Why is it better? What makes something or some environment better?
Characteristics of Generative AI: agentic, hallucinations (grandiosity), introspective (self-attention), contextual (transformers), crowdsourced (self-enhancement, confirmation bias, malignant egalitarianism, Dunning-Kruger)
AI therapy
Can AI be leveraged as an instrument of social control? Is it somehow linked to the emergence of authoritarianism? AI is authoritarian, ochlocratic, algorithm
Is there any affinity between AI and immersive technologies such as the Metaverse?
AI is a ubiquitous technology (in the Internet of Everything). How will this preponderance affect our privacy, agency, and cognitive processes?
No morality (we are gods and AI our creation)
Is AI as dangerous to the future of humanity as it is sometimes made out to be (transhumanism)? What would be its impacts on the structure of society?
