The best way to get around Italy from city to city is by train. A Frecciabianca or Frecciarossa will zip you from Rome to Florence in no time at all, and you'll get to see the gorgeous countryside on the way! Since you'll be finding yourself in train stations often, let's go over some common vocabulary and phrases that you will need to navigate these places and blend in like a local.

Script by Patrizia Farina, Professor of Italian at Western Connecticut State University and Purchase College.
