An ecosystem consists of all the organisms in an area, meaning the entire community, as well as all the abiotic factors that influence the community. So we are looking at energy flow, the recycling of nutrients, landscape, and weather. The three broad categories of ecosystem are freshwater, ocean water, and terrestrial, and within these categories there are specific types, like wetlands, lakes, and forests. Let's get a look at them now!
