When AIPAS sent me the S1 AMP electric dirt bike, I approached it the same way I approach a case: assess the build, the specs, the claims, and the real-world performance. I’ll be honest, the compact frame isn’t exactly my personal riding style. But the torque? The acceleration? This 4000W mid-drive brushless motor absolutely delivers a shock to the system.
Instead of just giving you my opinion, I brought in someone who knows how to truly push a bike to its limits, retired professional motocross rider Beni Williams. We took the S1 AMP out to one of his favorite motocross tracks in northern Utah and put it through real stress testing on hill climbs, loose dirt, acceleration runs, and high-speed passes and jumps.
