He holds a bachelor's in chemistry and a master's in physiology. Jon’s dissertation research focuses on the role of the prefrontal cortex in consciousness, anesthesia, and sleep. In 2019 he co-authored a research paper titled ‘Biosynthesis and Extracellular Concentrations of N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) in Mammalian Brain’ which included some astonishing revelations about how important of a role DMT plays within mammalian bio-chemistry / neurological-function and reality-perception. Is the strongest psychedelic known to man (DMT) also a fundamental bio-chemical for the mediating of our perception of reality?
