8:21Now Playing🔴In this clip from Pushing the Limits, Brian Shapiro reacts to a series of news clips featuring Trump administration officials and Fox pundits struggling to explain away one of the worst job reports since 2009.
📉 Lori Chavez-DeRemer makes excuses, claiming the weak numbers are just temporary.
📉 Kevin Hassett blames survey response rates and insists the jobs report will be “revised up.”
📉 Howard Lucknick tells Americans to “give it six months to a year” before things improve.
Brian isn’t buying it. He breaks down why these excuses don’t hold up:
🔴 Population growth outpaced job creation—meaning fewer opportunities for workers.
🔴Tariffs and Trump’s policies are dragging down the economy, not “helping workers.”
🔴The administration inherited a strong economy and is running it into the ground.
🔴Brian also points out the human impact: families losing jobs, health care, and food assistance, while Trump’s team continues to shift blame and promise improvements that never come.
🔴Even Fox News and Fox Business have admitted the numbers are bad—but the Trump administration still insists everything is “fine.” Brian calls it what it is: lies, spin, and denial.
