In this powerful conversation, Brian Shapiro talks with Brandon, a self-described single-issue voter who always chose Republicans over everything else because of abortion—even after January 6th. But now, with Trump calling for Mark Kelly to be “hung” and new Epstein-related revelations swirling, Brandon says he’s finally done.

Brian doesn’t let him off easy. He presses Brandon on:

🔴 Why January 6th wasn’t the “straw that broke the camel’s back”

🔴 How he could still vote for Trump after seeing 140+ injured officers, deaths, “hang Mike Pence” chants, and a violent attack on democracy

🔴 Why restricting abortion and controlling women’s bodies was more important to him than preserving democracy

Then the conversation shifts into a deep dive on abortion, rape, incest, and “my body, my choice”:

🔴 Brandon admits he would force a raped 13-year-old to carry a pregnancy to term

🔴 He says women in ban states should “put the work in” and travel to another state for an abortion

🔴 Brian dismantles the logic:

• Why should geography decide a woman’s rights?

• Why is it “my body, my choice” for vaccines, but not for pregnancy?

• Why should one man’s religious beliefs be forced on every woman in America?

Brandon eventually admits:

✅ He believes he “made a mistake” voting for Trump three times

✅ He knows Trump is a “horrible human being”

✅ He’s deeply conflicted as the Epstein stories make it “so much worse”

This call is a case study in Republican cognitive dissonance:

– “Government can’t tell me what vaccine to take.”

– But “Government can absolutely tell women what to do with their bodies.”

By the end, Brian delivers one of the most brutal sign-offs you’ll hear on talk radio:

“You’re going to have to answer to God why you voted for Donald Trump three times…

I wish we could abort your votes.”

If you’re interested in abortion rights, evangelical politics, MAGA hypocrisy, Trump, Epstein, and the state-by-state abortion war, this conversation is essential viewing.
