Homar grew up in Mexico before moving to the UK, where he has worked in public relations, policy analysis, and public affairs. With a passion for policy and socio-political affairs, Homar has volunteered at organisations like the European Movement, campaigning for closer UK-EU relations, and Amicus ALJ, advocating for equal access to justice for those on death row in the US. Currently, Homar supports Byline Times with election monitoring, assisting with Byline’s VoteWatch 2024 project - which investigates disinformation, dodgy campaigning, and voter suppression during elections. He obtained a dual degree in Psychology and Public Policy from New York University. He also obtained a Master's degree in Crisis Management from University College London prior to completing a post-graduate Law degree in the UK.
