In today’s episode of Figuring Out, Raj Shamani talks with the popular singer & songwriter, Armaan Malik. Known as the ‘Romance king’ of the Music Industry in India, Armaan has sung in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, English, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu and Malayalam. Malik has become the first Indian singer-songwriter to be featured on the prestigious Spotify Times Square Billboard in New York City for his latest English single titled 'Control'.
Armaan inherits his music talent from his family and speaks about challenges that come with it. He started his career from a reality show when he was just 9 years old and went on to become a child voiceover & dub artist. He’s known to have voiced for the character of Aladdin and shares with us some glimpses of his experience in this genre.
Having started making his independent music, Armaan speaks about how Bollywood music was not making him happy and shares with us about his decision to move on from bollywood.
