In today’s episode of Figuring Out, we have Dr. Pal Manickam in conversation with Raj Shamani. He is a well-known Gastroenterologist who also creates content on YouTube and has over 2 million subscribers. In this episode, most of your questions about gut health and overall health are answered.
We started this episode by talking about what happens when our gut is not well, then he shared various experiments on mice like how gut bacteria influence mood and behavior, and personality in the last 15 years. He shared how he went from 100kgs to 65kgs within 3-5 years. He shared how not eating at the right time and not eating right affects our health in the long run. He also answered questions like why bloating happens and how to solve it, foods that cause gas, why some people feel nauseous after eating, why many people are becoming lactose intolerant, and many such questions.
