In today’s episode of Figuring Out, we have Sabeer Bhatia in conversation with Raj Shamani. He has been the co-founder of Hotmail, COO of Biscuit Labs, and also the co-founder of ShowReel. He has incredible knowledge of the global market, business building, and entrepreneurship.
In this episode, we talked about how he came up with the idea of Hotmail and its name. How he built Hotmail, raised funds from the VCs and how they sold Hotmail to Microsoft. He then talked about Tiktok, how it is subconsciously ruling the minds of the kids in the US. We then talked about his meeting with Bill Gates and what he did with the money he received after selling Hotmail to Microsoft and the life realization he had after enjoying and buying things with that money.
