Though I hear not his voice, and see not his face, still He is so near that I can feel the warmth of my own breath against his ear. It is both comforting and frustrating. For he does not answer as I wish. Because he is God, and I am not. He controls my life. And I cannot control God. What a terrifying, liberating thought. I am in dread; I am at peace. I panic, and I rest.
