〈個性偏倔強〉由邱繹勝作詞、張與辰 Vic Teo作曲，也是陳佩賢繼〈鹹酸甜〉後，再度與二位作者共同帶來的作品，不同於〈鹹酸甜〉的甜蜜溫馨，〈個性偏倔強〉訴說著一種揪心，透過自我的療傷與肯定，揮別一段逝去的感情，也激勵自己繼續往前行。
這首歌的歌詞描述著對於感情的釋然，也有著些許哀愁，陳佩賢在配唱時特別代入電影情境，揣摩對於一段感情的開始與結束，當中的心境變化；配唱時製作人也在副歌的部份做了音調變化，藉由陳佩賢清亮的嗓音，更加呼應著心情上的坦然，「痛一場 又何妨，因為我 天生個性偏倔強」。
