In this discussion, Imam Amin Muhammad will explore the dynamic relationship between īmān (faith) and quwwah (power)—not merely as abstract concepts, but as lived realities within the African American Muslim experience. Drawing from history, scripture, and contemporary challenges, this conversation will examine how faith has historically served as a source of resilience, identity, and transformation for Black Muslims, and how it must now be harnessed to build institutions, shape narratives, and reclaim agency in our communities.

We will also reflect on the legacy of African American Islamic movements, the responsibility of religious leadership in this moment, and the urgent need to cultivate a generation that embodies both spiritual depth and social strength.
