In August 2016, the Green Party of Canada adopted a policy expressing support for BDS. That policy was authored and submitted by the former justice critic of the Green Party, Dimitri Lascaris. Another Green Party shadow cabinet member, Jean-Luc Cooke, led the opposition to this policy. On October 13, 2016, at the University of Ottawa, the two of them debated the question of whether the Green Party of Canada ought to have adopted this policy. This is a video of the Q&A with audience members following their debate.
