On the following day, pro-Palestinian protesters converged on the United States Embassy in Beirut for a national 'Day of Rage.' Dimitri Lascaris reported from the scene in Part I. In Part 2, heavily armed soldiers who blocked access to the U.S. Embassy are shown using teargas, stun grenades and rubber bullets to force the protesters further away from the U.S. Embassy. In this Part 3, the clashes between soldiers and protesters intensify at an intersection near the Embassy, where soldiers fired rubber bullets and hurled rocks back at rock-throwing protesters.
