as posted by the channelOn October 13, 2024, about one year after Israel's genocidal rampage in Gaza began, Dimitri Lascaris joined geopolitical commentator Laith Marouf for a stroll in the streets of Hamra, a religiously diverse neighbourhood in central Beirut.
As they walked down the bustling main road through Hamra, Lascaris and Marouf discussed the plight of the hundreds of thousands of Lebanese who have been displaced by Israel's indiscriminate bombing of south Lebanon and the Bekaa valley.
Along the way, they visited the Barzakh Cafe and Bookshop, whose managers and staff are devoting enormous time and energy to feed persons who have been displaced by Israel's war on Lebanon.
