25:09Now PlayingOn February 21, 2025, two days before the funeral of Hassan Nasrallah, Dimitri Lascaris returned to Lebanon.
On September 27, 2024, Israel's military assassinated Nasrallah in massive airstrikes on a densely populated, residential area of southern Beirut.
Promptly following his return to Beirut on February 21, Lascaris visited the site of Nasrallah's assassination. He was accompanied by Lebanese journalist, Hadi Hoteit, who described the manner in which Nasrallah was killed.
While in Lebanon, Lascaris plans to explore how the Islamic Resistance will respond to Israel's ongoing ceasefire violations after Nasrallah's funeral.
