Prior to unveiling its budget, the government warned Canadians that they would be required to make 'sacrifices'. At the same time, Carney readily acceded to Trump's demand that NATO countries raise their military spending to war-time levels.
On Reason2Resist's latest livestream, Dimitri Lascaris speaks with geopolitical economist Radhika Desai and NDP leadership candidate Yves Engler about the harsh realities of Carney's budget and the government's highly dubious rationale for drastically increasing military spending.
